Lead, Influence, and Transform Behavioral Health. A leading behavioral health organization is seeking a visionary, board-certified psychiatrist to serve as Executive Medical Director of Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Services. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape clinical strategy, drive program growth, and elevate the quality of care within a dynamic inpatient behavioral health environment. Key Leadership Responsibilities - Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO, CFO, COO, and EVP - Provide strategic and operational oversight for psychiatric and behavioral health services - Develop and implement clinical policies, standards, and best practices - Direct psychiatric services and provide leadership to physicians and advanced practice providers - Ensure excellence in patient safety, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement - Lead clinical program development and initiatives that enhance patient care and access - Maintain a limited clinical caseload (up to six patients) - Participate in a shared physician call schedule Qualifications - Board Certified in Psychiatry (Adult or Child & Adolescent) - Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure - Minimum of five years of leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health - Demonstrated success in clinical operations, physician leadership, and program development - Strong understanding of healthcare finance, quality metrics, and organizational strategy - Passion for delivering patient-centered, high-quality behavioral healthcare This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician leader seeking to make a lasting impact on behavioral health services while helping shape the future of care delivery.
