Cleveland Clinic Florida’s Neurological Institute is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neuropsychologist with specialization in adult neuropsychology to join our growing Neuropsychology section at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida.
Position Highlights
This is a clinical position created to meet the growing demand for general adult neuropsychology services at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation and consultation for patients with a broad range of neurological and cognitive conditions.
The clinical practice includes patients with:
- Brain tumors
- Stroke and cerebrovascular disease
- Dementia and neurocognitive disorders
- Epilepsy
- Multiple sclerosis
- Concussion and other acquired brain injuries
- Movement disorders
- Mood and anxiety disorders
- Other cognitive and neurological concerns
The clinical practice model is based on neuropsychologist-led clinical interviews and interpretation, supported by psychometrist-administered testing.
Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- Doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited psychology program
- Completion of an internship with training and experience in neuropsychology
- Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship specializing in neuropsychology
- Eligibility for Florida licensure as a psychologist
- Eligibility for or certification by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in Clinical Neuropsychology is strongly preferred
