- Behavior Specialist I - Children's Services
Description
The Behavior Specialist I will work under the supervision of a Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Coordinator delivering
individualized behavioral interventions. The Behavior Specialist will
assist clients with the acquisition of new skills, reduce challenging
behaviors, and support caregivers and staff with effective strategies
through modeling, training, and feedback.
Requirements
-Provide direct behavioral support in home, school, community, and
clinic settings.
-Implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) as developed
by the supervising BCBA.
-Observe and collect detailed data on individual behavior and
treatment outcomes.
-Assist in developing behavioral interventions and reinforcement
protocols.
-Monitor documentation and provide timely feedback and support to
staff.
-Model skill-building strategies and positive behavior supports for staff.
-Train staff on ABA strategies and intervention techniques.
-Participate in community outings and on-campus activities to
generalize skills.
-Participate in supervision, and ongoing training to ensure fidelity and
professional development.
-Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for all clients.
-Functions as an ambassador and liaison for Crystal Springs, Inc.
-Contributes to organization success by accepting new assignments,
helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve
team results.
