Company Overview
The Learning Tree, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing applied behavior analytic services to children with intellectual disabilities and severe behavior problems within the state of Alabama. Below is a description of the different programs provided by our organization:
• The Learning Tree’s three residential campuses are located in Mobile, Jacksonville, and Tallassee. These campuses serve children with significant challenges, ages 6-21. We offer 24-hour residential care in a homelike setting within the community that is individualized to their unique and special needs. Also, each campus delivers individualized educational services at a community-based school.
• Our preschool programs located in Auburn, Mobile, and Anniston provide intensive early intervention services to children as young as 2 years old with intellectual disabilities including Autism. The primary focus of intervention is language acquisition but additional areas such as self-care, play, social, and pre-academic skills are taught in conjunction with language skills.
• Our consultation and outreach services focus on increasing skills and reducing barriers (including maladaptive behaviors) in local school environments. The consultation program serves a variety of school aged students with intellectual disabilities in school systems across Alabama.
