A Unique Focus on Behavior & Bonding:
At Companion Animal Care, we go beyond traditional care. With an on-site doggy daycare and a clinic-wide interest in canine behavior, we’re the ideal practice for veterinarians who are passionate about strengthening the human-animal bond.
Our Hospital Manager has taught obedience classes for over 20 years, adding a unique and enriching dimension to our care model.
A Sustainable, Supportive Workflow:
We believe in giving doctors the time and space they need to practice quality medicine. Our appointment structure includes:
- 30–40 minute appointment times, adjustable based on patient needs
- 1 hour lunch break
- The ability to add catch-up time blocks when needed
- Surgery and dentistry that are optional, based on your comfort level and interests — and we are fully supportive of referring to a specialty center
You’ll also enjoy excellent support ratios:
- 2 technicians per DVM during surgery
- 1 technician + 1 assistant (or 2 technicians) per DVM in appointments
We focus on practicing efficient, team-supported medicine so you can do your best work without burnout.
Flexible Scheduling:
We are open to full-time or part-time DVMs. Our current doctor works 4.5 days per week, but we are completely flexible and will build a schedule that aligns with your lifestyle and preferences, with the benefit of no weekend shifts.
We Care for Our Community:
We are proud partners of the Fond du Lac Humane Society, where we currently provide free initial wellness appointments for newly adopted pets. We are also open to adding additional services—including surgical support if an incoming doctor is interested in expanding this partnership.
