Description
Kent Place School is seeking an experienced, child-centered Primary School Psychologist to join our vibrant learning community. This full-time position serves students in Junior Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 5, playing a vital role in fostering a positive, inclusive, and developmentally
responsive school experience for all learners.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
Expertise in child development, social-emotional learning, and behavioral interventions;
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with children, families, teachers, and
administrators;
An ability to design and deliver instruction that builds student wellbeing, interpersonal skills,
and positive behavioral habits using research-supported practices;
Enthusiasm for working with young learners and a demonstrated ability to build supportive
relationships that inspire students to take risks and grow as learners;
A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to a professional learning community
within and beyond the Primary School.

Requirements
Requirements: Doctorate degree in School Psychology or Child Clinical Psychology; demonstrated
cultural competency; proficiency in Google Suite expected; proficiency with learning management
systems and Magnus a plus.
