At the award winning Mind and Motion Developmental Centers of Georgia, the Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist/Psychologist plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive care to children and families and some adults. In this part-time to full-time position, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team to part of a team providing psychological/neuropsychological evaluations using state of the art tools, clinical interviews, and family history intakes. You will provide psychotherapy at your discretion, enter encounter notes in EHR System and make sure psychological report are reviewed with clients in a timely manner, and supervise psychometrists or other designated staff. Collaboration with the administrative team ensures seamless scheduling and billing processes, while strict adherence to HIPAA and ethical standards safeguards patient confidentiality. You are expected to meet billable service requirements, follow clinic policies and procedures, and participate in outreach activities that promote the clinic’s mission and growth. Above all, this role demands compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to patient-centered care within a supportive team environment. Research opportunities are also available by choice.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Pediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist/Psychologist role holds a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology from an APAaccredited program and has completed an APAapproved internship or residency. Eligibility for licensure in the State of Georgia is essential, along with formal training/experience in pediatric clinical psychology or neuropsychology. Candidates should have at least one year of supervised experience evaluating and counseling children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and must demonstrate knowledge of professional standards and ethics. Proficiency with psychological assessment tools, electronic health record systems, and basic office software is required, as well as the ability to oversee production of  comprehensive reports efficiently. Success in this role also depends on strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to collaborate within a teambased environment. Experience or interest in quantitative EEG, neurofeedback, and familiarity with thirdparty reimbursement processes such as Medicaid and private insurance is a bonus.
