Growing together.The Community Behavioral Health Support Advocate (BHA) promotes recovery and resilience by supporting individuals in the least restrictive environment. This role involves coordination with internal and external partners, including members, families, caregivers, residential providers, and medical and behavioral health teams-to assist members with complex needs. Responsibilities include managing supportive supervision benefits, facilitating collaborative care planning, reducing reliance on higher levels of care, improving access to community services, and enhancing community tenure.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage Home and Community Services requests for Community Behavioral Health Supportive Supervision, Intensive Behavioral Health Supportive Supervision, and Behavioral Health Wrap Around Services within identified time limits
- Apply advanced clinical skills to review Care Assessments and collateral information for decision-making.
- Assess members for additional treatment needs and initiate proactive referrals to alternative services when clinically appropriate.
- Connect members and caregivers to psychiatric, medical, and psychosocial services to support whole person well-being
- Identify and remove barriers to service access and engagement to support their placement within the community
- Provide follow-up, education, and monitoring in-person and telephonically.
- Collaborate with external providers and programs to address care gaps and recovery goals.
- Facilitate case conferences and informal communications with care teams.
- Participate in performance review meetings and quality improvement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards and systems.
- Engage members using a recovery-oriented, health and wellness-focused approach.
- Coordinate with providers to assess mental health acuity and service needs in accordance with funding guidelines

Required Qualifications:
- Mental Health Professional per WAC 246-341-0515 (4)
- 2+ years of experience serving the Medicaid population, preferably in a community mental health setting
- 2+ years of experience working with adults with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness
- Proficiency in electronic clinical records, email, internet research, and software applications
- Access to high-speed internet from home
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed master's degree (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage/Family Counseling), Licensed Ph.D., or RN with 2+ years of behavioral health experience
- Active, independent, and unrestricted license in Washington State
- Experience with dual diagnosis (mental health and substance use)
- Background in community mental health and managed care environments
- Experience coordinating benefits and resources across multiple systems
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Resident of Washington State
- Solid written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
