Description
Claremont Graduate University (CGU)’s Division of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences (DBOS) is seeking a practitioner-scholar for a half-time, non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice position in Organizational Psychology.
This role is ideal for applied professionals ready to shape the next generation of I/O psychologists while staying connected to real-world practice.
What You’ll Do:
- Teach graduate-level, practice-focused courses (including the Advanced Practice course for PsyD students).
- Mentor students through consulting projects, capstone development, and professional growth.
- Build external partnerships to expand internships and applied opportunities.
- Collaborate with faculty on program leadership and continuous improvement.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- PhD (or equivalent) in Organizational Psychology or related field.
- At least 5 years of applied professional experience (consulting, executive coaching, talent management, people analytics, etc.).
- Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring in academic or professional contexts.
- Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting a diverse student body.
- Ability to thrive in team-based, hybrid teaching environments.
Preferred: Graduate-level teaching experience and scholarly publications.
